What is the Akoma Ntoso IRI Resolver?

Through the Akoma Ntoso IRI Resolver it is possible to access all legal documents that are available as IRIs according to the Akoma Ntoso Naming Convention. It provides four different ways (or interfaces) to access these documents.

Some examples of Akoma Ntoso IRIs

At the moment, we have set up two working resolvers for Swiss and British legislation.

The Swiss example allows us to explore the language variants in expressions. See for instance /akn/ch/act/ru/2012/13, a Swiss act about Iran. This is a Work level IRI, corresponding to three different Expression-level IRIs, one for each official language:

Similarly, yet differently, the UK example allows us to explore time-based versions in expressions. See for instance /akn/uk/act/pga/2014/2, the UK Local Audit and Accountability Act. This is a Work level IRI for an act that has been modified at least once already. In fact, there are two different Expression-level IRIs, one for each version:

Not only it is possible to request them by their official version date, but through the viewDate mechanism it is possible to access to the version in force on the day of the viewDate, as shown in the following example:
